Welcome!

Welcome, all! I'm so excited to be journeying through the Bible with other friends. We can hold each other accountable, discuss what we've learned as we go, and get a different perspective, as I'm sure we'll not all be using the same translation.

If you need a place to look online for the Bible to do your reading for a day, here is a good one:

You can select your passage, choose a translation from all the widely used ones and then some, and even use commentaries, encyclopedias, and other resources if you want to be that in-depth about it.

  1. A technical side-note:
This blog does not automatically tell you when a post has had comments added. If you want it to do that, click the link that says "Subscribe by email" at the bottom of the post.

Unfortunately, I think you have to do this for EACH post. I haven't found a way to do this for the entire blog and just make it stay set that way for all posts. If anyone knows how to do that, I'd appreciate instructions.

  2. I will be using a NIV study bible just for the record. :)

  3. I will be using the King James Version. (Not the "New" King James. I like the "thee", "thou", and "thine".)

  4. Let me encourage you to not bog down in the "dry" books. When we get to them, be the first to find out why Moses was a woman! Post when you find it.
