Week's Reading for Week of February 21

Rather than playing catch-up if I don't log on to my computer from home or am so busy with family that I don't even think about a computer...here is this WEEK'S readings. Though still read them and comment (Please comment! *more crickets*) by day rather than tackling all the readings for the week...unless you just want to read ahead.

I'd rather everyone have the option to read ahead...rather than waiting on me and getting behind!

Numbers 1-3; Mark 3

February 22:
Numbers 4-6; Mark 4:1-20

February 23:
Numbers 7-8; Mark 4:21-41

January 30-Feb 3: Catchup (Again)

Well, you can certainly tell I have not been keeping up. Get a little thrown off my schedule by some snow...and completely forget to post (or read!) the Bible passage. I was just in shock from all this snow everywhere. Apparently my Texan brain cannot handle that school is out for three (maybe four...some districts already calling it for tomorrow) days with this white stuff all over the ground. Does not compute!

January 16-21 - Catching Up

All,

I am so sorry. I have been sick for a few days and haven't felt much like doing anything. I did work from home Thursday and Friday because I had to, but if something was not on the 'had to do' list...it didn't get done.

I'm sorry to put you all behind on reading. I hope maybe you've been able to read forward some, at least, and won't be too far behind. (Or weren't over-achievers and guessed too much and read too far...I guess you can take a break if so!)

I haven't caught up myself yet, but here are the readings so you can do so. I'll be starting my catchup tomorrow myself.

Today's passage:
Genesis 1-3
Matthew 1

Welcome!

Welcome, all! I'm so excited to be journeying through the Bible with other friends. We can hold each other accountable, discuss what we've learned as we go, and get a different perspective, as I'm sure we'll not all be using the same translation.

If you need a place to look online for the Bible to do your reading for a day, here is a good one:

http://www.biblestudytools.com/

You can select your passage, choose a translation from all the widely used ones and then some, and even use commentaries, encyclopedias, and other resources if you want to be that in-depth about it.
